Your voice. Their future.

This election season we want to inspire voters to think about the futures of all Hawaiʻi’s keiki when you choose your candidate and cast your vote. We can live our values with our votes - put keiki first, give parents real support, and sustain the care workforce.

Letʻs be the village our keiki need today and ensure our policymakers are prioritizing keiki and ʻohana issues to make Hawaiʻi the best place in the nation to raise a child.

Understanding Keiki Issues

We advocate for policies that encourage a strong early childhood workforce, support working ʻohana, improve health and safety for keiki, and ensure families have the resources they need to thrive.

We’re here to help you understand the issues, connect with the movement, and use your voice to create real change. Below are some priority issues weʻve been focusing on.

Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML)

Many in Hawaiʻi cannot take time off from work to take care of a new child or a family member with a serious illness or injury without giving up their pay. PFML can be the catalyst we need to make Hawaiʻi a better place to live and work. Learn More.

Prevent Child Abuse Hawaiʻi

Prevent Child Abuse Hawaiʻi: Ola Ka Palekana Mamo (PCA HI) focuses on shifting prevention narratives, centering the needs of children and families in system changes, and enhancing child health, safety, and well-being through long-term policy solutions grounded in equity and justice. Learn More.
